- Install batteries in all smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
- Test detectors to ensure they’re in good working order.
- Vacuum your refrigerator’s coils.
- Insulate all exposed pipes to improve the efficiency
- Schedule an annual furnace inspection
- Remove (or cover) window air conditioning units.
- Schedule a chimney inspection and cleaning. (if applicable)
- Check all window operation and locks
- Remove and store window screens; install storm windows.
- Check all doorknobs and locks
- Check all closet doors and secure
- Inspect all faucets. ( Repairs extra)
- Clean Garbage disposal with Baking soda
- Patch any holes in drywall No bigger than 1″
- Shut off the outdoor water supply, and store hoses for the season.
- Inspect your roof for damage.
- Inspect your gutters. (Clean out added cost)
- Inspect the caulk around all windows and doors; re-caulk as needed. (Added Cost)
